PN16 Stainless steel SUS304 Y Strainer with Filter Mesh. It helps to filter out unwanted substances from the liquid within the system. The effectiveness of a Y-strainer depends on the mesh filter.

 

As this valve traps debris, frequent cleaning is required. The strainer can be cleaned by shutting down the line and removing the strainer cap. As such, Y-strainers are usually installed near the drain plug for easy removal. It is recommended to install 2 pressure gauges at the inlet and outlet of the strainer to check for differences in pressure reading.

 

To install a Y-strainer:

-Align the Y Strainer with the pipeline according to the directional flow arrow on the strainer's body.

-Install the Y Strainer in a vibration-free and non-bending pipeline.

-Make sure that the installation is done vertically downwards before starting the system, and the bottom cap is tightly closed to prevent leakage.
